Diverse Philly started as an idea in April 2006.  The idea was to show how businesses could be sustainable by working together to share the cost of advertising and buying products and services from each other to build trust. What I have witnessed since the site went live is that businesses working together will help stem the social ills plaguing Philadelphia and changing these conditions can move Philadelphia from a good place to live to a great place to live.
